Update rework is coming.

Yo gamers and artists,

A 1.3 update will arrive at some point in Cave Game. Before that happens however, I want to take the time to rework some things I wasn't happy about with version 1.2, along with adding a few things that I felt were still missing. A new version 1.2 will be released in the near future, containing three tracks of background music, a settings menu to customise your game, a lot of visual fixes, and a new UI. Along with that, I am reworking some parts of the source code that I wasn't happy with, and I will be sharing the source code in the next update.

I am doing my best to make the source code behind my game as efficient and clear as possible, so you can also use (parts of) my game for your own projects. After the new update has released, I will be posting a guide on how the game works and how you can modify it.

I find history very important, so I will keep the older version(s) of this game accessible and available for download on this page. This way you can explore what the game once was and see how far we've come, or play with some fun deleted features.

I hope you will enjoy the 1.2 rework when it releases.
